The holidays are fast approaching, and if you're like many, you are still "thinking" about what to reach their customers. Well, time is running out out, so here are some tips to make buying gifts for customers a little easier.
1. Customize it -- Customers are impressed with a gift that tells them they took the time to learn next.
Are you a wine connoisseur, or have a favorite liqueur? Try giving a good bottle of your favorite.
Eco-friendly? Consider planting a tree in his name.
Gourmet cook? A large body apron holder pot, or any number of devices or food cold gourmet kitchen would be a great gift!
Sports fan? Some season tickets would mark some points, or maybe some sports memorabilia of your favorite team!
Like eating out? Try a gift card to her favorite restaurant.
Perhaps he is big on charity ... a charitable donation in his name. (Note on this: Be sure to donate to a charity based in the preferences of his client, not his own.)
Crazy about coffee? How about a chopper and a large bag of beans?
The point is that gifts customized to their customers are not just one of the crowd.
If I have time to think about a personalized gift for each client, think of a gift you can record with the name of each client. For example, a nice travel alarm clock, or a brass wreath hanger, or a magnifying glass. Brookstone is one of my favorite places for these gifts.
2. Do not forget the card - sure to attach a letter or card with each gift, personalized service, and signed by you. Also, make sure Gift wrapping very well. First impressions do count.
3. Avoid junk and trinkets "- Do not send trinkety kind of things with your logo on them. While it may consider the "brand", your client will most likely launch. There are exceptions to this, but in general, avoid any plastic thing that is less than $ 10 each.
4. Designate a coordinator of gift - If you are a very small business, this can be you. But if you have a personal, consider allocating a person to coordinate all the details of gift - from purchasing, packaging, to delivery. giving customers can get complicated and time consuming, so sure the nominated "Santa" is detail oriented and well-organized. Assign someone in addition to being in charge shall ensure that does not distract from the task of building your business.
5. With a budget? Consider giving their customers the gift certificates for the free product or services (what sells). If you are a consultant or a service company, give them a free hour of your time, or a percentage discount on your next purchase. If you own a restaurant, give them a free meal for two, or a free dessert or appetizer. Be creative!
6. Organizers a party - Send out a great invitation, have an open bar, heavy hors d'oeurves, some desserts, and that's it. Its clients to better understand and can hobnob with other customers to those singing his praises.
Here are some of my favorite ideas for client holiday gifts:
Gift Baskets - From steaks to wine to gourmet delights, customers receive everything they love to do! You can go online to order them, and have delivered. What could be easier? There are hundreds of gift baskets to choose from, one for every budget and all tastes.
If you want to go personal assemble a basket full of some of his favorite things.
Books or subscriptions - Have you read a great motivational book lately? What There is fiction? Your customer can also enjoy. And if you can get a signed copy, the better! Or if you know your customers' tastes, consider giving a gift of 12 months subscription to a journal or magazine hobby. What we have done is buy a copy of the current issue, wrap, and deliver it to my client with a handwritten note. Also can send it by mail if the client lives out of town.
Massage and Day Spa - One of my all time favorite gifts I received was one my creative department of one year. They pooled their money to give me a day of de-stressing massage and pampering at a spa. Your customers will love this idea, believe me.
The supply of customers seriously gift during the holidays goes a long way to let them know how much we appreciate your business.
